Research area
I am interested in innovating silicon and beyond-silicon integrated circuits and systems to address emerging and high-impact applications in communication, computation, sensing, and bioelectronics. My major research directions are summarized as follows.
- Energy-efficient, high-linearity, and wideband power amplification and signal generation in silicon and non-silicon technologies
- Broadband and reconfigurable RF/mm-Wave/THz integrated electronics and photonics systems for 5G/6G communication, sensing, ultra reliable low latency communications (URLLC), and physical layer security
- AI-assisted fast reconfiguration and rapid end-to-end design synthesis of RF/mm-Wave circuits and systems
- Multimodal sensors/actuators, interface circuits, post-CMOS processing, microfluidics, and packaging for cellular and molecular screening, manipulation, point-of-care (PoC) testing, and implantable devices
- Energy-efficient ultra-compact integrated RF-electronics-photonics for cryogenic and biomedical applications
- Next-generation molecular electronics using nano-scaled CMOS and beyond-CMOS technologies
